As the crypto bull run heats up, everyone is looking for that next big thing. I decided to check out the top searched cryptos on GeckoTerminal, and it’s a pretty interesting list. There’s a mix of utility, community focus, and outright speculation. Let’s dive into these projects and see what they’re all about.
First up is Ethervista, which seems to be gaining a lot of traction. It’s a decentralized exchange (DEX) that claims to give users full control over their funds without any intermediaries. Sounds great in theory—no one wants another FTX situation—but I can’t help but wonder how many DEXs we need out there.
Ethervista reportedly uses smart contracts and liquidity pools for efficient trading while ensuring user privacy. But here’s the kicker: it’s apparently built on Ethereum’s blockchain, which means those gas fees could eat into your profits unless you’re trading large volumes.
Looking at its market performance, it seems to be at a critical juncture with resistance at $21.54. If it breaks through, who knows? But then again, breaking through resistance isn’t exactly a guarantee of success.
Next is MSTR2100, which is essentially a token tied to MicroStrategy’s Bitcoin holdings. I get the appeal—it’s like having exposure to Bitcoin without actually buying the asset itself—but isn’t that just as risky? If MicroStrategy ever had to liquidate its holdings for some reason…
The token has surged recently, claiming over 12% in just 12 hours. That kind of volatility can be enticing for top crypto traders looking for quick flips but terrifying for long-term holders.
Then we have Kendu Inu, yet another meme coin focused on building an “inclusive and secure ecosystem.” Apparently this one surged over 230% last week! But let’s be real; most meme coins are community-driven hype trains that can derail just as quickly as they accelerate.
Kendu trades around $0.000045 right now and has seen significant volume activity lately. Could this one have legs? Maybe… but I’m not betting my farm on it.
Crypto All-Stars caught my eye because it’s in presale mode and has already raised over $2.8 million! They’ve got an innovative staking model that supposedly offers high returns if you stake early enough—though I’m always skeptical of projects that require you to lock up your tokens for extended periods.
They claim their presale will gradually increase the price from its current low of $0.0015309—which makes me think about how many people are going to get wrecked trying to catch this “early-stage” train before launch day.
Last but not least is Peng—a Solana-based project that aims to bring creativity into the meme coin space (whatever that means). It apparently recovered from an all-time low recently but still trades relatively low at around $0.712 today.
Peng focuses heavily on community involvement through something called a Decentralized Governance Protocol (DGP). You know things are getting meta when even governance structures are being gamified.
So there you have it—the top searched cryptos according to GeckoTerminal right now. Ethervista looks like it might have some staying power if DEXs gain more popularity; MSTR2100 feels like a ticking time bomb; Kendu Inu might just be another flash-in-the-pan meme; Crypto All-Stars seems designed to extract maximum capital from naive investors before dumping; and Peng… well let’s just say I’m not rushing onto Solana anytime soon!
As always do your own research before diving headfirst into any project listed here!
