They sent sanitary products to 4,000 women, which apparently made a big difference in their lives.

Trying to Solve Period Poverty

Now, they say the project’s goal is to offer sustainable solutions for period poverty among marginalized women and girls, tying it into the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. AMWA, the oldest organization pushing for women’s advancement in medicine, seems to fit their bill for social responsibility.

Thanks to the Office of the First Lady of the Commonwealth of Bahamas, they focused this round on disposable menstrual pads. This makes sense, given local issues with water scarcity and high washing costs. It also helps out women in dire need during natural disasters like hurricanes.

Since they committed to social welfare during the “KuCoin Green Future Gala” at COP28 in 2023, they’ve been all about fulfilling their corporate social responsibilities. This project is a crucial part of that.
